Stability booklet (report) is an obligatory component of the Class Project of the vessel and is required to get approval of the project in any Classification Society such as: Lloyd's Register, GL, RINA, DNV, ABS, RMRS, Tafneef (UAE), Local Maritime Administrations and other Classification Societies which do not consist into IACS (International Association of Classification Societies).
As well Stability Report is obligatory for any vessels under modification and conversion which might affect on stability configuration of the vessel and stability needs to be re-calculated or checked.
By the international practice of Shipping and Classification - Stability Booklet (Report) is the document Nr.1 on board of the vessel.

STABILITY AND INCLINATION TESTS
Conducting of Stability & Inclination test is necessary for vessels which do not have Stability Booklet or Stability Calculations needs to be naturally checked/tested (the very first vessel of the new series). In this case stability/inclination tests helps to get necessary data and prepare "Heeling Report".
